“I called Pacific for a second opinion after 5 visits from Black Hills and their recommendation to replace the heat exchanger for $1,500 or better yet a new furnace for over $5,000! After explaining the long story to the front desk gal, and asking if Pacific had an experienced Tech that was expert on diagnostic issues, she recommended Phil. Made an appointment and when Phil came out , it took him less than 10 minutes to find the condensation trap was installed sideways and thus not draining properly causing the intermittent shut off!
